Living with bats. It wouldn’t be that bad, would it? I mean, they only carry disease that can harm your family, and produce guano or poop that is toxic, and chew holes in your home, and make noises in the night, and fly around you. Wow. I guess bats are not that lovely to live with. Apparently homeowners in downtown Dayton, Ohio must have thought the same thing, because they wanted their bats out. So who did they call? That’s right, they called Barnes Wildlife Control. They called the Barnes Wildlife Control team with reports of bats inside their home and bat noises.

The Barnes team responded very effectively and located where the bats were entering the home between a wood board and the brick of the house. The bats even left a nasty smelly substance known as “bat grease” which comes off their bellies as they squeeze into a home. Barnes Wildlife Control removed the bat poop and they sealed up the house with caulk, sealant, construction foam, and more. After dealing with the effects of the bats, the team even went straight to confront the source of the problem, they installed a bat valve – a one way passage device which allows bats to exit the building, but does not allow any to enter. Another successful bat eviction by Barnes Wildlife Control (www.BarnesWildlifeControl.com). One of the many gaps that had to be sealed is pictured below.
