Hunter was very friendly and prompt. He was professional, thorough and found the problem immediately. He gave us great advice about catching nuisance animals and directed us to Barnes’ Rodent Crack to assist us in trapping them.

The ladies in the office (Cindy, Kayla and Jess,) are always friendly, helpful and efficient. The gentleman that come out to service the traps (Bentley, Zech and especially Wade) have all been very professional and friendly. Always a nice touch to get a call letting us know they are on their way. We've dealt with other raccoon control companies in town- they all pale compared to Barnes Wildlife Control both in service and efficiency. We highly recommend Barnes!

I have used Barnes twice for groundhog capture and removal. They were prompt and professional both times. Their technicians are capable and personable. The only caution I would suggest if you engage their services is that where their service agreement says "removal" it also includes release on your property of a critter you do not wish to have killed or relocated. In the case that you find a critter in the trap that you do not wish them to dispose of that you save their removal fee by releasing the critter, rebaiting and resetting the trap yourself.

I would give this company a minus number if it were available. I called this company for a mole problem and was told the company does not provide this service anymore. There is no indication on the company's website that service was no longer available. I also told them I had a problem with a hornets nest I discovered at the top of my house. I arranged an appointment and when the technician showed up, he apologized and told me he couldn't remove the nest because it was located just below the roof and the company's policy does not allow employees to use a ladder. At no time when I called to make the appointment was I told of this policy, even though I said where the nest was located. The incompetence of this company is unbelievable. This was an inconvenience to me because I had to rearrange my schedule in order for them to remove the nest. Their website states "superior Miami Valley Wildlife removal and pest control services provided by Barnes Wildlife Control. Protecting your home from the inside out. Built on a foundation of integrity and high quality service." What a joke. I don't recommend this company for anything.

Used Barnes in the fall for a bat abatement service after finding a bat in our home nowhere near an easy entrance. They were thorough with the inspection, and the follow up services they offered were well explained and zero sales pressure. We got a bat education as well and learned they couldn’t complete the last step of the job until spring when bat roosting protections allowed for it. This is the first company I’ve ever worked with that always shows up exactly when and how they say they will, even months apart- with no follow up from me.

I had originally given Barnes Wildlife a negative review. I spent quite a lot of money doing exclusion work to get rid of bats and mice. They got rid of the bats, but the mice were back shortly thereafter. However, after talking over the issue with them they came back and did some more exclusion work in good faith, without additional cost, under my warranty for the work they had already done. So I appreciate their responsiveness and follow-up.

NO MORE FLYING SQUIRRELS 🙂 In 2025, my home had issues with a couple of flying squirrel colonies in the attic and walls. Barnes Wildlife came out, checked out the issues and sealed the areas of critter traffic. One year later, there have been no issues in the last year with flying squirrels, mice, or other woodland creatures AT ALL. Just had my one year inspection and all is good. Pricing is what I would expect for the service & appreciate the friendly and respectful service of the Barnes Wildlife crew.

I can’t say enough about how great this company has been towards me. Initially, I went with another company and basically was ghosted and 300 dollars down the drain for him to put a trap on my roof that is still there currently and haven’t heard from him in days. I called Barnes Wildlife because I was discouraged and at my wits end because the raccoon was in my attic and it was making my children, my cat and I anxious and we wasn’t really getting any sleep. Omar came out and did a thorough inspection around my house and my attic, was very kind and informative and told me the best options. He took pictures, showed me the critter that had been camping out in my attic and set a trap specifically where he was going in and out. Not even 12 hours later, there is a raccoon in the trap. I called Omar to let him know and was clearly freaking out and he reassured me that everything was ok and that they would have someone to pick it up in the morning. I get a email from Melissa that I was first on the list so that made it even better. The following morning, Chris comes out and grabs the raccoon and goes over the best options for me. I slept like a baby once Chris left and I really cannot thank you all enough.

Wade has been extremely helpful in not only finding the problems we had, but offering solutions to fix damage caused by flying squirrels who took up residence in our attic. We had our annual inspection recently, and he did an extremely thorough check and assured me that everything is still looking good after the work that they performed to seal up the entry points last year. Everyone from Barnes Wildlife Control who has come to my house to work on it has been extremely professional, polite, and thorough. We had extensive work done in the attic and had the insulation removed, sanitized, and new insulation put in, and after they left, you couldn't even tell they had been here. Everything was cleaned up nicely. We will continue using Barnes Wildlife Control and recommend them to others often.

I had a great experience with Barnes Wildlife. When I explained the problems I was having with squirrels, raccoons, and bats, they listened to my concerns and offered cost-effective solutions. I never felt they were pushy or trying to oversell me. They were honest and transparent with their pricing, they were responsive and acted quickly when needed, and they put in as much time as needed to be sure I was well taken care of. I highly recommend Barnes Wildlife to anyone having problems with pests in their homes.

I must say my experience with this company was the very best. The lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. The two young men that came to my house to remove a dead deer from my yard was the nicest people. Thank you for very much. The nicest experience I’ve had with a business in a long time.

Vic did a great job removing the initial bat that got into my house, and the subsequent process of dealing with the bats he found in the attic while surveying the house.
He and his team reapired the entry points, set up one-way flaps to evict the bats, removed all the damaged insulation, sanitized the attic, and replaced the insulation.
They were efficient, and Vic did a great job answering my questions and maintaining communication throughout the process.
The repairs look good and blend in pretty well with the exterior.

From initial scheduling to final completion, Barnes was amazing! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Great communication and quality work. Wade was a pleasure to work with and his crew was efficient, prompt, and professional. They really went above and beyond to make sure I understood our bat problem and solution. The work site was left tidy when they were done as well. I felt they cared about the quality of their work and their rapport with their customers. I will absolutely use them again if I have any other critter problems.

Barnes Wildlife has saved the day (well, many days...) since I moved into a house in the woods. From removing a ton of dead mice and snakes in my attic, an eviscerated skunk from my driveway and a mouse who was looking for a new winter home for his family, Jake and his team respond promptly, including the weekends.
They're on time, on schedule and a delight to work with -- most recently Wade was my rescuer from the weekend mouse visitor. Wade and his partner, Jenks, returned today to prep my house for fall by finding all the cracks and crevices and closing them up. They go above and beyond: Wade ventured into my attic to check it for any raccoon damage. I'm grateful for their attention to detail and quick response. I recommend them highly.

Barnes Wildlife Control did an excellent job catching and quickly responding to my text messages when 3 squirrels were trapped at 3 different times. Nice satisfied that all critters were gone, they repaired the holes in the wood so that no other critters will come in our attic. You can’t tell that there were holes in the wood. We would highly recommend Barnes!

Barnes Wildlife had a lot of great reviews so I contacted them to come out and give me an inspection and estimate. We live just outside Enon Ohio. Our 3 story home has wood siding that has acquired about a dozen woodpecker holes over the years - some near the size of tennis balls. And of course all are near the top of the roof line. These holes have been home to nesting birds, a swarm of honey bees (that was fun) and just recently both flying squirrels and gray squirrels. The Mrs had had enough - thus the call to Barnes.
Jacob was out for the inspection 2 days later for the inspection and estimate. He advised the work could be completed using 40 foot ladders. I have never worked from a 40 foot ladder nor will I ever. I scheduled the work after receiving the more than fair estimate.
A week later the Barnes crew was out. They removed (trapped)
several squirrels from the attic and released them away from the house. The repair work on the holes was so good you couldn’t even tell where they were. In short the Barnes crew would receive a 10/10 score for such a great job.
If you need professional, prompt, courteous folks for wildlife issues or wildlife issue repairs there is no one better than Barnes Wildlife!
A life long customer

I love the service and results from the work of Barnes Wildlife Control in treating the rodent problem I have in my home. Two years ago, i used another company, with whom I was dissatisfied and very disappointed with their work, lack of honesty, work ethics and service. I feel blessed to have found Jacob and his Barnes Wildlife Control company. For the past several months, I have received excellent service in getting rid of and controlling the rodents in the two attics in my home and two crawlspaces in my basement. I am impressed with Jacob and his crews' progress made is solving my rodent problem. I just wish I would have used Barnes Wildlife Control initially to address my rodent problem. Barnes is definitely a knowledgeable, reputable company with excellent work ethics and integrity. Barnes is a family-owned company which takes a personal interest in their clients and works hard to solve their client's wildlife issues. I remain

We had a severe infestation of bats in the attic area of our church. Barnes Wildlife did a fantastic job of removing the bats safely, inserting one-way valves, removing soiled insulation, installing new insulation, and making sure that they could not get back in to the attic. Since then, Barnes has come out yearly to make an inspection in the fall to make sure that the bats have not returned.
The personnel were friendly, professional in their approach to the issue at hand, and cleaned up after their work. As a church trustee, I would recommend them for any wildlife control issues!

Barnes Wildlife Control is the only company I call for pest or animal problems. They've dealt with raccoons, wasps, and mice for me over the years and in each case, their service was excellent. Currently they installed bait traps around the foundation of my home to deter mice from invading. What I love best about Barnes, is they suggest a mitigation strategy, explain how it works, and tell you about maintenance required. I feel as thought I understand what's going on and how the situation will be prevented in the future. As someone new to rural living, they are a Godsend.

One day I noticed insulation on my deck. When I figured out where the insulation came from, I noticed a hole in the corner of the roofline and a dormer. Living in the woods, I knew I had an animal in there. I called Barnes, and they responded quickly and set a trap. They took the time to explain what was happening, why, and how they would resolve the issue. Within a couple days the raccoon was trapped, and I called Barnes to let them know. They were out within a couple hours. They secured the opening after removing the raccoon, and came back a few days later to permanently seal the opening, and prevent future infestations.
I highly recommend this company. Very nice and professional employees who fixed my problem quickly at a fair price!

He was able to come up with a solution and the raccoon was caught and removed from our property. Would highly recommend Jake and this company!

Barnes Wildlife Control did a fantastic job and was extremely thorough in removing a family of bats from our attic this month. Removing bats is a fairly labor intensive ordeal and all the staff members were extremely helpful throughout the process.
They explained all the steps that would be performed, such as sealing all the tiny crevices the bats could use to get back in, attaching one-way exits for them to permanently leave, doing a complete clean out of the attic to neutralize any biohazards, and replacing the soiled insulation with fresh material.
They did exactly what they stated and on schedule, with great customer service and attention to detail. We are so happy to have our house restored to the way it should be and would definitely use them again in the future.

When we thought we had a raccoon in our attic we called Barnes, Hunter came out promptly and did a complete assessment. He could not find an entry area that it could’ve come into the attic and it wasn’t in the chimney. He did see droppings around the chimney, so he set a trap on the roof. He answered all the questions we had. Since we knew that we needed chimney caps put on we also had them give us an estimate for them. He checked back frequently, we had thought the raccoon had left because we hadn’t heard it. When he came to install the caps, while getting ready to put the one on the large chimney...guess who popped out to check on what they were doing! So, they stopped and set a trap for it. One raccoon was caught and after a few weather delays the other cap was installed. The final bill was exactly what the estimate was. All the people we dealt with the company were pleasant and professional. Hunter kept us updated on what was going on and check back w us frequently. I would highly recommend Barnes and will we use them in the future if the need arises.

Your crew is unprofessional and I couldn't be happier to have fired you. Definitely the kind of place that needs to purchase positive reviews, spend five minutes talking with them and you'll understand.
Hilariously the ownership tries to claim this review is spam. Even funnier is that Barnes has had 60+ reviews posting within a week of each other and who all miraculously needed pest control services in the middle of a pandemic. Did you purchase them, farm them from your friends, or what? Those are definitely spam.

Excellent customer service, from the time you call in to the professional advice and service you will receive. I think Barnes Wildlife has got to the smoothest, well greased con-artist we've ever met. WAY over priced for the work that was actually performed in addition we were charged for work that was not completed. We feel compelled to warn others, think long and hard... I had a squirrel in my wall and the guys at Barnes Wildlife came out at least 5 or 6 times to set/check traps, patch holes, and went WAY above and beyond what they needed to do to get the animal out! They had excellent communication, often checking in on things throughout the week to see if there was any progress. They never seemed to look at the financial aspect of things, instead, they treated me like family, shifting around schedules to accommodate me and making sure things were done right. From a financial aspect, they were extremely fair - honestly, for all they did, I thought it would have cost much more! I highly recommend Barnes Wildlife Control. Tommy helped us out with a mice infestation. He thoroughly inspected our house inside and out and gave us very detailed advice and estimates of what they could do to help us. Per his advice we had them seal up our house from top to bottom to make sure no more animals get in. He also helped us to set traps inside the house to catch the mice. Tommy was very courteous and professional. He sent us detailed pictures of the work he did to the outside of our house. The outdoor seal up was quiet and professionally done. I would recommend calling Barnes for any wildlife concerns.

Great job done! Tommy came out and really took his time looking for a critter in our attic. Luckily for us there was none residing up there, but Tommy made us a screen(s) to cover the outdoor places into our attic. He even stained the wire to make it blend with the house.
Tommy had a great personality and he was so very helpful. He cleared the roof of limb debris and cleared our laundry vent where it was opened and critters could have gotten it. He went above and beyond!
I will call them again if I need help.

Woke up one morning to noise in the attic, and discovered I had a squirrel that had decided it was a good place to ride out the winter. Called Barnes Wildlife Control and worked with Wade. He did a very thorough inspection and went over where the squirrel was getting in, ended up there were two that had built a sizable nest in my attic. Wade caught the squirrels, sealed up the entrances and removed the nest. I am very pleased with their work. While I hope to not need them again, if I have pests again, I would not hesitate to call.

I am very happy with the job Barnes Wildlife Control did for me. I had raccoons in my attic. They came out to assess the situation the day after I called. I got a detailed quote and pictures. Tommy set traps, checked on them and took the critters away promptly. He communicated with me frequently by text. They came out on a Saturday to clean out the attic and reinstall new insulation so I did not have to take time off. They did a great job.

Professional and friendly service crew, with Tommy leading the way. Did a complete job of securing the house and roof from critter entry, then removed old junk and debris from attic, cleaned out and put in new insulation. Clean start to the new year!

I've known Jacob for a long time, but seeing his knowledge and passion for this work is phenomenal. Now that the job is finished, we are very pleased with the results. His technicians were also very thourogh and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Barnes Wildlife Control to anyone who needs their services.

So far so good, even though only 1 mole was caught, however for over $600 worth of work they could have flattened out the holes they dug for the traps, good thing I have to repair anyway. Unsure if I will use again. Also charges tax for work too...so keep that in mind when you have work done.

We worked with Tommy to quote and manage our large full remediation and access prevention project. Tommy was great to work with and Barnes really knows their stuff. They have the trained staff to get the job done and to do it right.

Amazing company! This is the second time we’ve used Barnes Wildlife Control and the second time we’ve been delighted with their efficient, friendly and effective service. The issue this time was persistent and damaging woodpeckers who chewed up our siding on repetitive and multiple occasions. The excellent technicians at Barnes Wildlife Control identified the problem and installed some very effective reflective bird scarers in the problem areas. These are extremely well engineered light weight and unobtrusive reflective devices that dissuade birds from paying close attention to our siding. The devices are really well made and *completely* eliminated the problem! Incidentally, the devices are local in their action, so they won’t affect birds feeding at your favorite feeder, so you can still enjoy the beautiful birds while saving any damage to your property.

We are so pleased with the service that Barnes Wildlife Control and specifically Tommy provided! We suspected something might be living in our attic, so Tommy came out only a couple of days after we called. He thoroughly inspected our house for any potential entry points for unwanted animals, and also recommended trimming our tree branches over the roof, since animals could access our house that way. He found a small hole and set a trap. A few days later, Tommy called and asked if we had seen anything in the trap, and we hadn't, but I also hadn't heard noise in the attic either. Tommy scheduled a day to come out and remove the trap, and texted me pictures of the 5 flying squirrels that had left the attic! He removed them and filled the hole to the attic. He has been so professional and thorough, we couldn't be happier. I would absolutely recommend Barnes Wildlife Control to anyone with unwanted animals on their property!

We were extremely happy with the service we received from Barnes Wildlife Control!
Once we called the office we received a prompt and courteous call from Tommy. He was able to come out that same day to assess our situation. Tommy was very knowledgeable about our wildlife issue.
After checking our home environment he was able to assist us in creating a plan to help eliminate any wildlife that was able to access our home. The crew who came out to seal up cracks etc. outside did a very thorough job. Tommy came back the next day to make sure everything was done properly, and He also installed a system on our roof and eave to deter other wildlife problems.
Insulation removal and installation after our home was sealed up was completed by a very hard working crew, JT, Pete, Chris and Tommy.
Once completed they cleaned up our yard and inside our home, and it looked better than when they had started!

We want to thank Tommy and the Barnes Wildlife Control team for their prompt and professional service. We suspected we might have raccoons or other creatures under our deck, so we were interested in deck exclusion. Tommy talked us through all the options. The team installed the exclusion and checked the traps regularly. We are very happy with the installation. They did a great job working around our landscaping and making sure everything looked the way it had before. Well done!

Extremely professional service. I called this company to take care of an extremely aggressive bee nest. They arrived when they said they would when I scheduled my appointment. The technician was polite and professional and most of all he handled my bee problem! I’m very pleased and will call Barnes Pest Control again if I ever need their services.

We were pretty sure we had a dead animal in our wall, the smell was getting pretty bad, so gave Barnes Wildlife Control a call after reading about them on Google. They had someone out that same afternoon. Tommy was very knowledgeable and professional. He found the animal with a small camera inserted into our wall, then removed it, and patched the wall.(Turned out to be a mouse) Thank you for your quick response, professionalism and friendly service!

This is a great company with great service. Tommy was highly professional. He took pictures of all of the work performed and gave me feedback throughout the process. He made a custom modification for our chimney that was very reasonable. He put metal grates on our Gable vents, filled all weep holes and completely sealed all exterior gaps, and he put a secure screen on our chimney to keep out any critters. I would highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Barnes Wildlife Control, they helped us when a raccoon decided to take up residence in our attic. They showed up at the times that they stated and were always super friendly and explained everything that was going to be done. Thankfully the one raccoon was caught and didn’t have any babies in our attic. We wished we would have called them long before we did! If you are having any issues with unwelcome wildlife critters then don’t hesitate to call them, they will get the job done!

My family and I are truly thankful for all the hard work that Tommy and the rest of the Barnes Wildlife crew did to rid our house of the squirrels that were wreaking havoc on it. This is the second time that we have used them and both times we were very pleased with all their hard work. Now we can relax and enjoy our 3 seasons room and not have to hear the squirrels scurrying about. They also helped rid our front porch not only of the squirrels but from the birds that were attempting to nest there. Thank you from the Pristas Family!

It's not the first time I've reached out to your company for emergency help in getting the squirrels out of my house. Your prompt attention has given me peace of mind once more and I thank you so much.

Tommy and the rest of the team from Barnes Wildlife Control, were great when these little raccoon critters were wanting to make themselves at home in my attic. I called, they were there the next day, Tommy surveyed my yard and found where they were climbing up to get on the roof and ultimately in the gable of vent, suggesting the plan of attack, and the first night caught the male raccoon. The trap was reset the day of pick-up and other critters came to visit too. Tommy was pretty sure we captured the culprit and we waited a week for the attic inspection, in case the mom was up there. Attic inspection clear, raccoons at bay and me the home owner happy. Professional, thorough and thoughtful to the situation, I would recommend Barnes Wildlife Control and use them again!

We have used Barnes twice now for the removal of raccoons. Every single time we have been more than satisfied. Most recently, Tommy from Barnes came out. We couldn’t have asked for someone better. Tommy was professional and extremely educated about his craft. He went the extra to ensure I fully understood what was going to be done and the pricing behind it. He also truly cared about his work and my home. He made my wife and I feel very comfortable through the whole process. Highly recommend.

Fantastic. One try and the horrible raccoon was caught. I had another Dayton area critter catcher and they tried to catch it for almost 2 months. This company knows critters and how to get them. Wow! Now we will see about the cost for the damage/remediation. They even checked my home to see areas that might need to be sealed. The raccoon was in the rafters at our barn and not in our home. But they evaluated the entire property. Wow again!

Unfortunately a raccoon decided our attic was the perfect place for her nest. Called Barnes and they sent Tommy out. A trap was set, raccoon caught, and babies found. Tommy was great keeping us updated and working with us as we were out of town for part of the process. The soffit was repaired and we have peace of mind. Thanks Tommy and Barnes Wildlife Control!

Barnes Wildlife is fantastic! Tommy was quick and effective at trapping and removing the (live) squirrel from my attic. I was quite unnerved by the whole thing, and his explanations and and calm demeanour were reassuring and made me feel far less anxious about sharing my home with a critter. Barnes Wildlife also did an excellent job trimming trees and patching up holes so that more critters don't venture in. Although I hope to never need their services again, if I do, I will certainly hire Barnes Wildlife!

Tommy and team, including the office staff, couldn’t have been nicer. I had both a opossum and skunk take up residence in my shed. The skunk sprayed when s/he was discovered and Barnes did a great job remediating the issue. I also used them to disassemble the shed and haul away it along with most of the “skunky” contents to ensure I wouldn’t have future wildlife guests. Unlike some of the other companies I called, they‘ll come out on weekends. I highly recommend Barnes and especially, Tommy!

Barnes is the best! I had a hole near the front door of my house where birds or another animal was trying to nest. Tommy filled in the hole and also performed a visual inspection of the outside of my house where he found some holes in my cedar siding. He also recommended that I put screens over my gable vents so critters don't try to get inside. The siding repair work and the gable vent screens look great!

We heard noises in our attic at night and then found animal derbies. We called Barnes and they can first thing on Monday. Found the access points and traps. We could always be there during working hours but Tommy did a great job keeping us updated and informed with pictures. They closed the access points up and cleaned all the feces and debris up. Highly recommend them!

Barnes did a great job in removing a female raccoon from our attic. Tommy came out the same day we called and set the traps. He was very courteous and explained the whole process to us. He checked the traps personally while we were out of town and then came back on short notice to put up additional screening. Once the raccoon was caught, Brett came out promptly to remove our catch, inspect the attic, and repair our roof and soffits. He did a great job also. I would highly recommend the Barnes team.

I recently had a raccoon in my attic. Barnes was able to come out the next day. They set a trap, caught the raccoon two days later, and then came out to check for damage and debris in the attic. They even told me how my insulation looked and made sure the vents were all operable. Thanks Tommy! You were great!

We heard noises in the attic and called Barnes. They came out and inspected the attic and found that squirrels were coming in through the roof vent. They set up traps, caught two squirrels and put a cage over the vent to prevent future ones from coming back into the attic. I want to say that they came right away, acted quickly and got the job done right. Kudos to Tommy for doing a great job!

Prompt service,, company answered my emails on a holiday, had Tommy come out the next morning - he put up traps in horribly cold weather, and checked back often until the raccoons that got in our attic were removed. After making sure no other animals were present, he patched the damage the animals had done to the house. Barnes and Tommy will be my first call if I have animal problems again!

We weren't aware of any animals living inside the attic/chimney when we recently purchased fixer upper rental property and called Barnes Wildlife first strictly based on the online reviews. We made the right choice! Tommy was very knowledgeable and the ultimate professional in solving our pest problem. They trapped/removed multiple squirrels and raccoons, installed a chimney cap, and filled holes with copper mesh and foam. Tommy provided great communication throughout the process and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would definitely recommend Barnes Wildlife!

Awakened at 3 am to something "going bump in the night". Turns out raccoons came in through my chimney. Barnes came out that day, set traps and removed the mother and babies trying to set up house in MY house. Quick response to removal calls, even on the weekend. Also installed a chimmey cap to prevent further visitors. Referring all my friends to them!!

We had squirrels living in our covered deck, but I was concerned that they may be in the attic. Tommy did a thorough inspection and set several humane traps to catch them. He was professional and very helpful, often coming by our home to check on them himself during times when he had not heard from me. He also provided ideas for repairs so that this issue does not arise again. Overall, a wonderful experience and wonderful company.

After calling 3 different places, I chose Barnes because they quoted the best price. I was not disappointed. I highly recommend Barnes if you need critters removed!!
