Raccoons are curious and keen creatures, but they can be a nuisance, not to mention destructive! If a raccoon is in search of other raccoons, a nice warm place to sleep, food, or just being a raccoon, then one may well try and possibly succeed in entering your house or structure. Unwelcome raccoon visitors was just the case for homeowners in Kettering Ohio. What was the solution to the raccoon problem? Barnes Wildlife Control was the solution to their problem. The Barnes Wildlife Control team humanely removed two raccoons by using live-cage traps that were secured to the roof, and then took preventive steps to keep any future raccoons from entering again. The team inspected previous repairs on the roof to make sure shingles were intact, and that any gaps were properly sealed. The team repaired gutter guards, sealed off gable vents, addressed vinyl siding and conducted other exterior repairs. The team inspected and took measurements to install a chimney cap to guard any critters from entering. Inside the attic, the team removed feces and contaminated insulation, and then installed new insulation before deodorizing the attic and sanitizing. Similarly, an additional job was completed in Dayton where one raccoon was removed, mesh was inserted to protect gable vents, and work was done on soffits as well as vinyl. These jobs were once again completed successfully, efficiently, and humanely by Barnes Wildlife Control’s professional and trained team.
